New York Times
Article On November 12, 2001, The New York Times printed an article about
the Broadway Inspirational Voices and their desire to share the message and
power of gospel music. Broadway Inspirational Voices is unusual for being
composed of people from different racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Some members are Jewish, some Buddhist. All ...are welcome. "People come and
celebrate whatever sense of God they have in their lives." - Michael
McElroy, Founder "...this isn't part of what I was brought up with
[Catholicism], but the spirit and the message is universal." - Vance Avery |
